On Sunday, 4th June, Peter and Mark joined Bruce Turner’s Coffee & Cars casual Cruise. Bruce, who ran the Rotary Club Torquay Car Show this year, runs his Cruise on the first Sunday of each month and is attended by all sorts of cars and people.
About a dozen of us met up at the Torquay Bunnings for introductions before heading to Queenscliff via Black Rock, Barwon Heads and Collendina. It was then a stop for lunch at The Shelter Shed before making our way home – a very pleasant morning.
In the group, we met up with a guy named Brendan Edgerton, who has made a couple of amazing trips in his VN Commodore. First it was “30 Pubs, 30 Days Around Australia” and then “Around the World in 300 Days in Search of the Lost Tuckers”. Between us, Peter and I bought both his books and he tells a hell of a story. You can see his VN in the photos.
