COLAC MOTORFEST – 19 JAN 25

Colac Motorfest is a non-profit organisation that runs this event over a weekend each January. The organisation donates all proceeds from this event to local charities.  The event also draws a large number of people to Colac over the weekend which is a huge boon to local businesses. The Colac Motorfest committee strives to provide a weekend of events to suits a wide range of motoring enthusiasts. 

Although our Surfcoast Corvettes club has, in the past, attended the alternate Colac RSL Show n Shine, in Memorial Square, it appears Motorfest has taken over from the RSL event. There is no advertising to be found for this former show.

Colac Motorfest fits nicely into the car show timetable, fitting between the Drysdale Show on Sun Jan 5th, and the Torquay Show on Sun, Feb 9th. Several of our members are planning to attend this event, with one of our Colac members, Steve, being prompted to organise the 3 C8s in Colac to line-up together at the show.

All members should give some serious thought to attending this show. We can discuss details at our Jan 8th meeting, but feel free to call Mark, or someone else at the club if you want to join the drive down to Colac.
