On Saturday morning, 26 April, we are having a Club Run to Meredith, where we will meet for brunch at the Meredith Farm Store.
The Farm Store is part of a group which includes the Meredith Farm and the Meredith Dairy. Visiting their websites, which are listed below will teach you much about this enterprise that works primarily with sheep and goats. Quoting from their website –
“Meredith Dairy is the largest farm of its kind in Australia. We milk both goats and sheep and process dairy products every day. Our aim is to value-add all farm produce, not just milk, to produce the best products we can and farm in a responsible and sustainable way.”
Products available from the Store include cheeses and yoghurts made from the milk of the sheep and goats, which is collected daily.

CLICK the menu below to see what’s available to order for your BRUNCH .
The owners of the Cafe would appreciate if we could give them a list of the meals we would like to eat as we are a bigger group than usual and they would like to be sure they have enough stock at hand.
Check the MENU below and let Peter Scholer (0455 190 070) know your choice.
How To Attend
If you wish to attend what promises to be an excellent outing, the first thing you must do is to check the Menu to decide what you want to eat. Then call Peter (Scholer) on 0455 190 070. Peter is co-ordinating with the Farm Store regarding the number of diners and the food they want.
We will be meeting up at the Batesford Roadhouse (actually the opposite side of the road to the roadhouse), 495 Midland Hwy, Batesford. Turn left off the Geelong Ring Road at the Midland Hwy and you’ll see the Roadhouse about half a kilometer from there. Be there by 8:45 am for a 9:00 am departure to take a scenic cruise to the Meredith Farm Store.
If, for any reason, you want to go direct to the Farm Store, or are running late and miss the departure, you will find the Farm Store at –
30 Staughton St Meredith
NOTE: We should be there soon after 10:00 am
